Call for Papers announcement
TM Europe 2012 – Call for Papers
Dear Colleague,
The TM-Europe 2012 International Translation Management Conference will take place on 4th and 5th October 2012, in Warsaw, Poland.
This year’s theme is The Future of Translation and Localisation.
TM-Europe 2012 builds on the success of all four previous TM-Europe conferences and traditionally focuses on management issues for the translation and localisation industry, with particular emphasis this time on process management and standards.
We are planning to structure the programme for TM- Europe 2012 around the following topics:
Process management – optimising processes, CRM strategies and systems, managing a dispersed organisation (incl. global staff, staff working from home, etc)
Project and operations management – increasing productivity, efficiency and lean management
Translation technology – as a means of saving costs and increasing efficiency and ROI
Best practice and standards for global business – perspectives, implications, and practical issues
If you are interested in the above topics and have knowledge and experience to share with your peers, potential clients, suppliers, and other industry experts, please save the date and consider submiting a proposal for TM-Europe 2012.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 30 April 2012, and we shall be contacting potential speakers and panellists at the end of May at the latest. Details of the programme will be announced and registration will open at the end of May 2012.
